Pictet Asset Services, the asset servicing business line of the Pictet Group, is opening a booking centre for external asset managers in Monaco in April 2021, with a local presence of dedicated client relationship managers. The team will join Pictet’s banking branch in Monaco, which opened in February 2020.

Gérald Mathieu has been appointed CEO, Barclays Monaco. He will relocate to the Barclays' Monaco office and will continue to lead Barclays Private Bank, Europe & Middle East.
As CEO, Barclays Monaco, Gérald will work closely with Olivier Franceschelli, Head of Private Banking, Monaco, in positioning the business for growth in the Principality. Barclays Private Bank, which has been present in Monaco for nearly a century, is the longest-serving foreign bank in the Principality and brings a full range of advisory and discretionary products and services to Family Offices and Ultra High Net Worth Clients in the region.

Mr Franceschelli will lead the Monaco business to drive Barclays’ ambitions in the principality by delivering tailored services and solutions to high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients in the region.
