The AMAF’s mission is to represent, promote and develop Monaco as a financial Centre. Within the association, the Commission for the Promotion of the Financial Centre works to enhance its reputation both nationally and internationally. Its members actively participate in presentations about the financial Centre, particularly during visits by foreign delegations and international economic missions organised by the Monaco Economic Board and Monaco Private Label.

The AMAF maintains constant dialogue with the Monegasque authorities, economic players and social partners. . As a key interlocutor for the financial community, it plays a central role in discussions on the development of the financial Centre within a strictly regulated framework. This partnership with Monegasque institutions aims to guarantee the excellence of the Principality’s banking and financial sector.
Internationally, AMAF is is an associate member of the European Banking Federation and EFTA. It has also been a member of SEPA since 31 March 2009 and is a founding member of the Union Bancaire Francophone, created in 2012, which brings together 16 banking associations from French-speaking countries.
AMAF intends to continue and strengthen its efforts to support the development of Monaco’s financial Centre. This sector, a pillar of the local economy, is a strategic growth driver for the Principality’s future.
