Monaco benefits from a dynamic ecosystem supported by professional associations involved in the financial sector. They actively contribute to the development, promotion and modernisation of the financial Centre.

ACI MONACO

Founded in the Principality in 1991 with the support of the AMAF, theACI Monaco(Association Cambiste Internationale) is affiliated with the ACI Financial Markets Association (ACI-FMA), founded in 1955, which now has nearly 9,000 members in more than 60 countries. The ACI Monaco brings together financial market professionals.

 

Its mission is to develop relationships and cooperation between its members, promote access to financial training and, more generally, support anything that can contribute to the development and reputation of market professions, in accordance with ethical rules. It is particularly recognised for offering free training courses every year, led by professionals from the financial Centre.

AMCO

The AMCO (Monegasque Association of Compliance Officers), founded in 2000 under the auspices of the AMAF (Monegasque Association of Financial Activities) and the AMSF, brings together compliance professionals from various professions in an effort to promote legislative, regulatory and ethical standards.

 

The association aims to encourage discussion on regulatory developments, share feedback and experience, and act as a think tank for institutional stakeholders.

 

The fight against money laundering, terrorist financing, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and corruption, as well as the preservation of the integrity of financial markets, respect for ethical principles and the defence of client interests, are at the heart of Monaco’s regulatory environment – both in the financial sector and in designated non-financial activities.

 

In this context, AMCO maintains relationships with partner associations, both local and foreign, and now has more than 250 members from over 20 sectors of activity.

AMFiD

The AMFiD (Monaco Sustainable Finance Association) was created at the end of 2022 with the support of the Prince’s Government and the AMAF. It brings together players in the Monaco financial Centre involved in developing a culture of sustainability within the Principality and aims to bring together ESG correspondents to share and develop best practices. The association’s role is also to promote Environmental, Social and Governance criteria in Monaco, to highlight virtuous investments in relation to these criteria and to raise awareness among professionals in the financial Centre.
