This service provides information and guidance to entrepreneurs wishing to do business in the Principality. Administrative authorisation is required to start a professional activity in Monaco. Once the authorisation to operate has been obtained, the investor will continue to receive technical assistance from the Economic Development Department for the final steps: publication of the articles of association in the Journal de Monaco, filing with the registry and registration with the tax authorities.
Monaco Economic Board (MEB)
The Monaco Economic Board promotes economic activity in the Principality and actively participates in its development. A private law association created in 1999, the MEB is the operational arm of the Prince’s Government.

Its activities are based on three main missions :

Supporting Monegasque companies in their local and international development by offering them a wide range of services and privileged access to its numerous networks through the Monaco Chamber of Commerce ;

Prospecting entrepreneurs, investors and high net worth individuals interested in setting up in the Principality through Invest Monaco ;

Coordinating the promotional and development activities carried out abroad by Monaco’s public and private entities that contribute to the Principality’s attractiveness and influence through the Monaco Coordination entity.
A member of theInternational Chamber of Commerce, the MEB also constitutes the Monegasque National Committee within this organisation. Composed of companies, professional organisations and government representatives, its board of directors is representative of all economic players in the Principality.
More than 600 Monegasque companies have chosen to join the MEB.
