Open a bank account

Any natural person or authorized representative of a legal entity, resident or not, can open a bank account in the Principality, in compliance with the regulations in force. Valid proof of identity and address must be presented to complete this formality according to Monegasque regulations (KYC: Know Your Customer).

When the bank account is opened, a Bank Account Agreement is established which contains all of the reciprocal contractual commitments between the bank and the holder(s) of a bank account, from its opening to its closing. It specifies information on the general functioning of the account, means of payment and other associated services.
