M. Bruno DALLES, Procureur Général auprès de la Cour d’appel de Nouméa, est nommé à la direction de l’AMSF. Il prendra ses fonctions le 3 mars prochain à la tête de cette Autorité administrative indépendante, créée pour remplacer le SICCFIN, afin de lutter contre le blanchiment de capitaux, le financement du terrorisme, la prolifération des armes de destruction massive et la corruption. Il succédera ainsi à Mme Sophie THEVENOUX qui occupait le poste depuis le 29 janvier 2024.
Magistrat de carrière, M. DALLES a notamment été, de 2015 à 2019, Directeur du Service à Compétence Nationale TRACFIN, homologue français de l’AMSF, puis entre 2019 et 2022, Administrateur général des finances publiques, directeur régional des finances publiques de la région Centre-Val de Loire et du département du Loiret. Il dirige le Parquet Général de Nouméa depuis le mois d’août 2022.
L’intéressé viendra ainsi apporter ses compétences et son expérience reconnues dans ces domaines qui constitueront de précieux atouts dans l’accomplissement de ses nouvelles fonctions.
Mr. Bruno DALLES, Attorney General at the Court of Appeal of Nouméa, has been appointed to head the AMSF. He will take up his duties on March 3 at the helm of this independent administrative authority, created to replace the SICCFIN, in order to fight money laundering, terrorist financing, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and corruption. He will succeed Ms. Sophie THEVENOUX, who has held the position since January 29, 2024.
A career magistrate, Mr. DALLES was Director of the TRACFIN National Competence Service, the French counterpart of the AMSF, from 2015 to 2019, then General Administrator of Public Finances and Regional Director of Public Finances for the Centre-Val de Loire region and the Loiret department from 2019 to 2022. He has been head of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Nouméa since August 2022.
He will bring his recognized skills and experience in these areas to bear, which will be valuable assets in the performance of his new duties.
