10 April, presentation of Casablanca Finance City (CFC) to Monegasque company managers

Under the aegis of the CDE, 70 economic players met at the Automobile Club de Monaco for an Ambassador’s Lunch devoted to Morocco. The Moroccan Ambassador to Monaco, H.E. Mr. Chakib Benmoussa, was accompanied by Mr. Said Ibrahimi, Managing Director of Casablanca Finance City - a new financial centre with a pan-African vocation which has only just earned its stripes internationally. It is a platform dedicated to French-speaking Africa, that offers an ecosystem around 3 strategic targets: financial businesses, professional services, and regional headquarters of multinationals. It is a real financing and trade platform for the capital market in the French-speaking African region. CFC ranks in second place for Africa in the Financial Centres Index, after Johannesburg and before Mauritius. 43 international companies are already operating under its banner, and CFC has signed partnership agreements with Singapore, Luxembourg and the City.
