AMAF welcomes a delegation from the Financial Intelligence Unit of the Ivory Coast

After a first meeting in 2007, the AMAF was pleased to welcome again a delegation from the Financial Intelligence Unit of the Ivory Coast.

Marie-Pascale BOISSON, Director of SICCFIN, wished that her counterparts, on the occasion of their study visit to Monaco, could measure the importance of the involvement of the Place professionals in the right implementation of the legal framework in the Principality.

A very fruitful exchange has been established on April 24, 2015, between the National Financial Information Processing Unit of the Ivory Coast - CENTIF - represented by its President, Mr Idrissa TOURE, accompanied by the Head of Legal and International Affairs Department, Romain OUATTARA, as well as the head of the Analysis pole, Stéphanie De SOUZA, and a delegation of the Monegasque Association of Financial Activities - AMAF.

After this meeting, our representatives particularly emphasized the common will of the place’s actors to fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism, in close collaboration with the Monegasque authorities.
