news-2012-mysThe Monaco Yacht Show is not only the most prestigious luxury yachting Show in the world.
It also provides a premier luxury setting for business clients.

This is the Show's 22nd year and despite the financial crisis, the Hercule port is hosting 103 yachts and 26 luxury tenders measuring around ten metres. The main ‘event’ however is the Upper Deck Lounge, consisting of 650 square metres dedicated to the business clients of the Monaco Yacht Show. It offers a private meeting area, six business rooms available for hire by exhibitors and a champagne bar, more than adequate to accommodate an exclusive clientele from amongst the 28,000 expected visitors of 38 different nationalities.

A conference was organised in Geneva by Gordon S. Blair Law Offices and lead by Mrs J. Laik (Economic Chamber of Development) and Mr B. Rousselot on July 10th, 2012 : "Presentation of the Monaco Financial Centre".

news-2012-cmb-artIn 2012, CMB renewed its financial agreements with the Grimaldi Forum for its summer exhibitions. The partnership was signed in May by Jean Pastorelli (Grimaldi Forum) and Etienne Franzi (CMB). CMB has also given support to the actions of the Oceanographic Museum and the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra. And for the first time CMB has signed a partnership agreement with the New National Museum of Monaco, to enable the latter to purchase new works of art.

sampleAccompanied by the President of the Finance Committee and the national economy, Alexande Bordero, Jean-François Robillon, President of the National Council, welcomed the members of the Young Economic Chamber of Monaco (JCEM) for their plenary meeting in April. Tony Guillemot, President of the JCEM, described the actions and aims of his organization for the current year.

sampleThe Sovereign Order was published in the Official Journal in January: Monaco and Germany are now bound by an agreement to exchange tax information. One of the States can thus authorize representatives of the other to enter its territory to question physical persons or examine documents. Such assistance can be refused in certain situations, particularly if the requesting country has not used the means available on its own territory to obtain the desired information.
