Jean CASTELLINI, Government Counsellor and Minister of Finance and Economy, took part in a high-level in Warsaw on April 25, 2023, to a high-level meeting organized by the Polish Ministry of Finance the Council of Europe's Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures to combat money laundering and terrorist financing (MONEYVAL).
The meeting brought together ministers responsible for anti-money laundering policies from the 35 MONEYVAL member countries and territories to discuss the strategic direction and future priorities of the priorities of the MONEYVAL Committee. At the end of their discussions, the Ministers adopted a political declaration and approved the strategy to combat money laundering, the financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction for the period 2023-2027. The Principality of Monaco thus reaffirms its full involvement in the fight against money laundering financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and its commitment to its commitment to comply with the best international standards.
