On Tuesday, 18 September 2012,  Bernard Rousselot, President of the Commission for Promotion of the Financial Market of Monaco at the Monaco Association of Financial Activities (AMAF), Jean Castellini, member of the AMAF Board, Jean Dastakian, Secretary General of AMAF, and Laurence Genevet, Director General of EPI Communication, introduced the new website, dedicated to the dynamic and coordinated promotion of the Monaco Financial Market, ‘Monaco for Finance’ (www.mff.mc).

The website emerged from research by the Commission for Market Promotion at AMAF and is supported by the technical and functional tools of the EPI Communication company.

Mr. Rousselot took the opportunity to present the objectives of ‘Monaco for Finance’.  The website should contribute to the development of the Monaco financial market, through a coordinated and structured communication policy, but it should also promote the image of the market abroad.

While AMAF is the initiator of the project, its purpose is to bring together not only its own members (bankers, asset and fund managers), but also accounting experts, lawyers, insurers, and all other players in the world of finance in Monaco.  The intention is to create jointly a real information platform.  Specific features and pluses of Monaco’s financial market will be highlighted and evaluated, along with its activities and services.

The site’s first task is to respond to the numerous questions received from investors, and then to stimulate their interest.  ‘Monaco For Finance’ should eventually be able to give market indicators, with links to the CDE [Chamber of Economic Development], foreign Embassies and Consulates.  It should also be able to arrange trips for one-on-one meetings with investors.
