From June 23 to 25, 2025, the Grimaldi Forum will host the IMPower FundForum, one of the largest international events dedicated to the asset management industry. We met with Jenny Adams, Global Executive Producer, who gave us a sneak preview of the topics that will be covered at the event.
What is your exact role as Global Executive Producer of IMPower FundForum ?
Firstly we bring together the most important global buyers and sellers in asset management and wealth management, one place one time to connect and partner. With our 35 year track record we are trusted to deliver a great experience year on year!
Secondly we attract buyers at scale through the curation of an objective, innovative and sophisticated agenda. The buyers benefit professionally and personally as we bring them a vast range of face-to-face conversations that they cannot get online or elsewhere.
Thirdly we work with sponsors to position them almost seamlessly into the narrative of the agenda for maximum benefit and profile.
Can you briefly describe what the IMpower FundForum is, perhaps with a few key figures?
With an unmatched 35 year track record, Impower FundForum is the #1event globally in asset and wealth management. We have a special relationship with Monaco as we are part of Informa PLC which also owns the Monaco Yacht Show. Our CEO Lord Stephen Carter is a firm friend of the Principality over many years. In addition other key individuals to reach out to at IMPower FundForum are Karima Haywood, Head of Production and James Roberts, Head of Partnerships.
Which topics on this year’s agenda do you consider particularly important for financial professionals?
Geopolitics affects every aspect of the day to day life of a financial professional. We are addressing this through exceptional geopolitical keynotes such as Yanis Varoufakis and Sir General Sir Mark Carleton until recently head of the British Army and Nato security lead. Also through extensive asset allocation workshops hosted by leading global CIOs and asset allocators to ensure that portfolios can withstand geopolitical uncertainty across all traditional and alternative asset classes.
Secondly private markets for private wealth is a massive theme requiring much education for different types of investor and intermediary across all the asset classes from infrastructure to private credit as well as the ELTIF structures and operations.
Thirdly I would say that leadership in times of uncertainty is a huge theme and our impressive roster of CEOs will make sure that all angles are covered to inform everyone from the GFI CEO to the family office leader.
How is the evolution of private markets influencing content and communication strategies?
This is a huge theme as ELTIFS, LTIFs and other structures enable private markets to be sold to HNW and private wealth. In terms of content, we are well aware of what an important issue this is and what a complicated theme to integrate illiquid investments into traditional portfolios. This is why we have gathered over 40 hands-on practitioners in private markets for private wealth from across Europe, ensuring end-customers get the most appropriate and aligned products and services. IMPower FundForum is hosting the most intensive and extensive two day focus on private markets for private wealth to date, anywhere.
Why was Monaco chosen as the location for this new edition of the IMpower FundForum?
IMPower FundForum has a long history of being based in Monaco. It is a perfect location for us because the networking and hosting opportunities are ideal. The location is small but sophisticated. AMAF is a loyal partner that we are delighted to work with again. Everyone can walk easily from their hotels and we can capture everyone’s attention one place one time, ensuring very high customer satisfaction year on year.
