The S.E.G.E.M (Société d’Exploitation et de Gestion des Entrepôts de Monaco) was established in 2012. In the extraordinary culturally dynamic setting the Principality of Monaco offers, and with the security and expertise of Monaco’s financial centre, it was decided to form a storage structure compatible with works of art in order to encourage the development of the art market in Monaco.

Vanessa Tubino, a chartered accountant and auditor, set up in Monaco 10 years ago. For the past 4 years she has represented the Ernst & Young network in Monaco. Last November she organized a working breakfast on the theme “Trends and strategic implications of private wealth management. An official delegation from Monaco led by the Minister of State H.E. Mr Michel Roger, in the presence of the Economic Development Chamber, participated in this major economic forum in Moscow, on the theme : « Russia and the World : New Dimensions ». This working visit was also an opportunity for the Monegasque delegation to make contact with the Russian authorities and dignitaries.

Very significant news was unveiled on Thursday 10 September by the Minister of State H.E. Mr. Michel Roger, surrounded by Members of Parliament, at the Monaco Parliament re-opening press conference. For the first time in its history, the State revenue for the present year should cross the one billion euro threshold.

The CDE was created in 1999 under the aegis of H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince and with the backing of the Princely Government. So, on 18 September, Mr. Michel Dotta, its current President, celebrated the fifteenth anniversary of the association alongside Prince Albert II and in the presence of many government members including the Minister of State, H.E. Mr. Michel Roger. All members were of course invited.
