Mr Yannick Chagon, the new Chairman of the French Banking Organisation and Standardisation Committee (CFONB), assumed his duties after a career at Societe Generale, where he was in charge of payment services. He met the Monaco Association for Financial Activities (AMAF) on 10 June 2016.

2016 06 Serge PierryvesSerge Pierryves, a Monegasque citizen born in Monaco in 1963, holds a degree in Marketing and Communications. He started his career in 1983 as a marketing assistant with Christian Lacroix SNC, where he was involved in launching the creator's own fashion house. He returned to Monaco in 1989 and joined the Tourist and Convention Authority, where he rose through the ranks to become the Assistant Director in 2002. In 2006, he transferred to the State Property Authority, once again as Assistant Director, before being appointed Housing Department Director in 2008. Serge Pierryves has been the Director of the Business Development Agency since December 2010. He was made a Knight of the Order of Saint-Charles in 2009.  He told us about the role of the Business Development Agency.

2016 05 Gianni RomanoSon of a banker (his father managed Banque du Gothard in Lugano),  Gianni Romano left Switzerland in the late 90s to open a management company in Monaco: Financial Strategy. He is its Chairman and for 12 years he was an Advisor on the AMAF Board.

2016 05 Berro AmadeiH.E Mrs Isabelle Berro-Amadei  is an accomplished jurist. She served as a judge in Monaco, then in 2006 was elected to the European Court of Human Rights, where she was President of Section from 2012 to 2015. The first Monegasque judge to take the bench in Strasbourg in the name of Monaco, she is now the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco to Germany, Austria and Poland.

2016 04 Philippe ORTELLIHe is the founder and CEO of Cogemat (industrial equipment provider), as well as heading up the EMT (Monaco construction company) and presiding over the FEDEM (Monaco business federation), which has 2,800 member companies. Philippe Ortelli talks about the future of Monaco and that of its economic growth and "how to leave a prosperous and strong state for the generations to come."

An important figure in Monaco's economy, Michel Dotta is the well-known president of one of the Principality's longest-established estate agencies, Dotta Immobilier. He is also president of the Monaco Chamber of Real Estate and the Town Planning Committee of the Social and Economic Chamber, as well as the Monaco Economic Board (MEB) and it is in this capacity that we asked him about new horizons within Monaco for the coming decades.

Now a private banker at the Monaco branch of a French bank, he knows the industry to perfection, as well as the various problems related to financial activities in Monaco.
